While this is a great light I just wish they were more descriptive about DIY mode and what L1-8 is. Remember that the factory brightness setting is bright. So if you have low-light plants, be sure to experiment with the DIY settings. If you just need a light to illuminate your aquarium this is great and the color features are really cool and can really create the atmosphere you are looking for.
