Review on 🕺 Bloch Men's Xavier Ballroom Dance Shoe by Ryan Vaughn

After reading the reviews I had high hopes for these shoes but unfortunately they didn't live up to those expectations. First the fit - almost all said they are large and I should order 1/2 to a full size smaller than my usual size. I had to go with my normal size as they are a bit tight. They may stretch over time but I think they will still be too small. The bigger problem for me is the shoe design. For some reason the heel angle doesn't match the rest of the shoe. If I were to fall from my heel to the floor, the rest of my foot would be at least 1/2 inch off the floor. When I put weight on the ball of my foot, the heel only touches the two front corners. This has several consequences: (1) the feeling on the dance floor is very uncomfortable, (2) the front corners of the heel are already rubbed by the felt and (3) the shoe squeaks loudly when rocking back. flat heel. I think I'll go back to my old boots and sharpen them as needed.
