Review on Folding Hitch Bicycle Rack For 4 Bikes By Rage Powersports Elevate Outdoor by Eric Dubreuil

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to assemble, sturdy and convenient!

This is my first bike rack and I had no idea why some would be good or why some were over $500. I knew I wanted to stay under $125 and I wanted a four bike carrier. I started reading a lot of reviews. This only had two reviews (both good) but $99 for a bike rack that held 4 bikes and lowered for rear hatch access was to good to pass up. So far I love it! I love that it fits my 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver so well love that the bikes don't sway or bounce while I'm driving. I'm so glad I learned about the folding racks while reading reviews it's so convenient and a real must have feature for any suv. I need to voice one complaint however, I think it's too tall for my Subaru Tribeca. While driving the bikes fill up my rear window. Also, putting the bikes up and taking them down for me at 5'4 is really difficult. It's a two person job. If your taller or stronger than me height might not be much of an issue for you. Overall, I'm really happy with this rack and had to give it 5 stars!

Pros
  • works very well
Cons
  • The rack may not be compatible with hybrid or electric vehicles
