Review on Ubisoft 19ASSVA2 Assassins Creed Valhalla by Agata Huas-Brodecka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Pros below: I am not a fan of Norse mythology at all, but I like the games of the Assassin series itself. Consider the game itself. Graphic arts: The picture is simply amazing, that the snow dunes, that endless forests and mountains look just great. Here's something that Ubisoft's open world can do. There were no drawdowns for the whole time either. Sound: I really liked the localization, the voices were chosen very well, and the translation itself also pleased with its correctness. The music is not naschivaya and almost not felt. Plot: The main branch of the plot is no different from the rest of the games in the series. There is an order, it needs to be stopped, that's actually it. Gameplay: Objectively speaking, if you have played Assassins Creed Odyssey, then you have seen absolutely everything, you will not find anything super new at all, except for a couple of moments. Weapons no longer drop from every enemy, are few in number, and are treasure to be found or rewarded. It makes no sense to upgrade all weapons. There is no unthinkable resource grind here as in the previous part. You can upgrade your settlement, upgrade buildings that give bonuses, and so on. True, I have never assembled a feast to receive all the bonuses. There are no naval battles in this part, but there were captures of castles. True, you can capture them only according to the plot and it all looks not very good. I liked the battlefields better. Bugs and dislikes: There are a lot of bugs in the game itself, this applies to constantly freezing NPCs, a drop-down battle mode and other little things. Has some cons: I really didn’t like the fact that it’s almost impossible to have an affair with a girl, I counted only 4 female characters (plus or minus) for the entire passage, and then after completing a series of tasks. But there are plenty of men, almost every second character has a romantic denouement. The guards of the order, in fact, turned out to be just nonentities, and hostages of the power system, in fact there were no interesting battles with any character at all. The store in the game is absolutely useless, selling any rubbish you won’t get a lot of money, and there’s nowhere to spend it because there is nothing in the store except resources. The resources themselves are almost not needed, it is enough to clear a couple of chests to have a huge smell of all the resources and not need anything. The leveling of the hero is meaningless, by the end of the game all the branches will be taken anyway, and the leveling will be simply unrealistic.
