First impression of the range finder was that I like the color but compared to other range finders I've used in the past (Bushnell Tour V4), a cheaper model is. This didn't bother me though as I knew it would be a cheaper rangefinder and I just wanted to try it for long range shooting. On the other hand, this is a great range finder for the price. It was solid for my aim at 400 yards so I was happy with the quality of this product. I always leave this in my truck and take it out when I'm in the area or just looking around. Would definitely buy again. Update: I used this Golf this summer and it rivals all other expensive rangefinders. Mode 2 on this range finder is for golf and both the range and slope were similar to the golf range finders that others have used. This is a great budget option.
