That's a great collar! It can be huge, like a St. Bernard. My dog is a golden retriever so we cut off the end that we said we cut off. I cut very little. Although it fits his size, he doesn't come loose when I hold him on a leash. You can have the light flicker or spin, but that drives the dog and me crazy (a warning in the instructions says it can cause seizures in epileptics), and it's better to have the light on constantly than it is on looks like the picture. I walk a lot at night and just want my dog to be seen - me too - that's really helpful. It is made of soft, elastic rubber. The clip is a bit difficult to detach, which is another reason I wanted it to be large enough to slip easily over his head. The on/off switch is very easy to use. It comes with a charger. Haven't used it enough to know how long the charge will last. So far, so good.
