Concept needs help
They are perfect for hanging lamps on poles. I haven't used it for anything else, but I don't see it not working for anything else unless it's too heavy. The reason I took off a star was because, like most people, I use cheap 500 watt lightbulbs which can get very hot. So the plastic melted the first time I picked it up. I ended up putting a piece of cardboard behind the lamp to keep it from melting. So the hook worked as expected. The concept still needs improvement.
