I bought this to clear sawdust from my carpentry workbench. However, when it arrived my wife opened it and immediately noticed how beautifully made it was and wanted one for her Montessori class! When I took it to the workbench, the horsehair handled dust of all sizes very efficiently and effortlessly, even removing fine dust from the rubberized handles of my tools! The black-coated metal shell is smooth to the touch and its edges perfectly match the countertop, with no distortion, no annoying creases or gaps. Wooden components make using both components a pleasure. The handle and its magnets snap the brush back into place in the bin with a gentle, reassuring click. Having so much fun with such a mundane topic is crazy, but when something is done well, that's exactly what happens! I plan to report back in a while to see how it handles wear and tear. But I assume it will last a long time. I highly recommend buying it for your dining table top, kitchen counters, or garage countertops.
