I've had a tough 2019 and 2020 is no better. I lost my husband last spring and in October I found out I was growing an ameloblastoma from my jaw gnawing at the bone. Luckily it wasn't cancerous and was removed but you can imagine those injuries, the pain in my jaw healed and now the virus, I'm not sleeping well. I got this because I remembered my grandma putting on duvets and blankets in the winter (English homes aren't known for massive heating systems lol) until I felt like I'd lost weight. I was hoping a weighted blanket would give the same feeling. The boy does it. I bought a package but put it aside. Then last night, tossing and turning like crazy, I remembered the ceiling. I put it on the bed and zowie! I fell asleep within minutes. I haven't woken up dozens of times. No nightmares. I slept all night. It's well done. Bead pockets ensure even distribution. You stay warm, but the sheets stay cool so you don't overheat, which is why I throw the blankets away. I ordered a queen bed, but it completely covers my California king bed. And don't forget the price. This is 1/4 the price of others I've looked at. So very happy with this product. One of the greatest pros is being pain free all night. I have arthritis in both legs, my jaw is healing and wounds from two bad falls. However, as soon as I hid under this blanket, the pain subsided.
