I've been wanting a stylus-equipped tablet since they first came out. Because of my bad experience with the Galaxy S III, I was hesitant to bring either a Samsung or a Microsoft tablet. Yet, the tablet gives joy. Excellent work. Listed below are some advantages: The display's superb resolution and smoothness make it a pleasure to use. Long lasting battery life; can get you through a day of moderate to heavy use (including heavy games, videos and notes with a stylus) Stylus; in fact, a tablet was acquired specifically for this purpose. There are stylus-specific apps, and my personal favorite is the "no hand!" mode, where the screen recognizes just the stylus's presence. Ergonomics; it fits nicely in the hand and, more importantly, feels great. Of course, it's performance. An alleged successor to Android L is in the works. Ill effects: WiFi. Not sure what's going on, but he seems to thrive off of a really assured welcome. The case cracks that everyone seems to have aren't present on mine. Even if you practice and get used to writing legibly, the thick stylus will always make you feel like you're using a dull pencil. The display is covered in fingerprints. Bad production values; "crickets" all over the display. As you proceed, the light suddenly increases in another section (feeling that the crystal is unsuccessful). Extremely distracting while you try to write. I contacted customer service and they promptly issued a replacement, which is otherwise same and somewhat improved. Obviously, this is quite unfortunate. This is the only major drawback, after all.
