Review on 🐹 Enhanced CritterTrail X: Super Pet's Ultimate Small Pet Habitat by Chris Harrington

My hamsters initially liked this cage but as a sleeping/nesting place they always seem to occupy the highest spot (no matter what cage they are in) so while they used the top ball for movement, they used it too to store food and sleep. FYI this cage was used to separate a young litter so he had 4 young brothers. Anyway, when they hid their food in the wheel and then ran, it made A LOT of noise, but as annoying as it is, that's not the reason for my rating. The hamsters were able to remove the cork from the hole next to the slide and ran away several times. But last night my whole family was out and when we came back we found 1 out of 4 hamsters still in the cage. Unfortunately my 2 favorites didn't survive their adventure but we were able to catch 1 of 3 escaping and got 2 back The surviving males were moved to another cage. Another big plus of this cage was that all 4 males automatically decided that the top removable part should be their potty and all conscientiously used that space only for urination which would have been a great benefit. as far as the cleaning of the cell is concerned, unfortunately this does not compensate for the losses suffered. I will be using this cage again but not before buying more tubes for the other side as they keep proving it is too east for them to remove the stoppers.
