These lights appear very well made and bright enough to suit our needs, but one of the selling points was the 72-hour promise in case of cloudy/rainy days where they might not get fully recharged. Well, I unboxed them all when they arrived and put them in full sun (we live in Texas, so I'm talking scorching SUN!) for two days before installing them along our driveway and front walk (where they will also receive adequate sun). The next morning 6AM still dark outside and only three out of twelve remained lit. Today was another test - our first cloudy day in a long time, and as of 9:30PM one of them is already out.We like these lights, and since I permanently mounted them to concrete I can't exactly return them, so we'll live with the limited lighting and hope, a year or two down the road, they still come on at least for a few hours in the evening. since you CAN'T REPLACE THE BATTERIES!
