High sides around the ankle.
You might think of a shoehorn to get at them, but once on, they stay. I had to do a heel counter to keep the sides of the shoe from irritating my ankles.

- These shoes are comfortable to wear, I have wide feet and they fit well and are comfortable.
Cons
- Uncomfortable shoes, I'm a bit disappointed in Timberland. Rigid and unrelenting.
