It's easy to install, it has almost all the features you need out-of-the box, and there are many tutorials online that can help beginners get started with their first project.

I dislike how some features have been removed from newer versions (like "nested attributes"), but this is not something that would keep me away from using rails lts. The support team is very responsive when we do run into issues or questions. We're able to deploy our application without worrying about breaking changes in new releases.
