Review on πŸ”¦ Voltage Automotive H1 Headlight Bulb 12258 Blue Eagle Upgrade - Brighter High Beam Low Beam Driving Fog Light Bulbs (PAIR) by Sean Zamora

Revainrating 2 out of 5

There are better headlight bulbs for the money

This rating is for the 9006 HB4 and 9005 HB3 Voltage Automotive Night Eagle Professional Upgrade bulbs only. It's true that Voltage Automotive Night Eagle bulbs are slightly whiter than standard OEM halogen bulbs, but the 9006 and 9005 have lower brightness and actual light output than OEM bulbs, which makes sense given the lower wattage. Instead of 55 watts like the OEM bulb, the Voltage Automotive 9006 bulb is 50 watts, the same low wattage as the Silvana bulb at Walmart. Ditto for the Voltage Automotive 9005 high beam, which is less than 60 watts compared to the standard 65 watts of a regular 9005. Combine lower wattage with a changing hue and you have a bulb set with a whiter but less useful light output. .when it comes to aftermarket headlights you will never hear me say you get what you pay for as in the past I have bought other inexpensive 9005/6 bulbs for the same car which were just as bright and lasted just as long like all other expensive ultra white bulbs, unfortunately the so-called upgraded voltage automotive bulbs don't fall into this category, there are better bulbs for the money.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Hard to say
