The image and the product name refer to the wireless network, which is only for wireless internet/phone connection, but of course, outdoor cameras connect wirelessly, no one gets a camera that needs to connect to your router with a cable . My assumption that the product image showed the word "Wireless plus no wire" I assumed it didn't need to be plugged into an outlet to get power, but that was apparently wrong.

The camera looks good and is very easy to install. It doesn't allow you to set motion zones and you can't set the time you want to be notified. Advertisements claim far night vision, but the manual only lists 32 feet. I couldn't even realize it. The bugs drive the motion sensor crazy at night and that's all I get on video at night so not smart enough to block that. I bought a 128GB SD card and haven't tried subscription-based cloud storage.

These cameras are great, love the way they rotate and the picture quality is perfect day or night. The only downside is that you cannot stray far from the router without being warned to move them closer to the router. Also, the motion detection is very sensitive even at the lowest settings. I bought 2 sets, one for the living room and one for the garden and they are great, motion alert on my phone instantly. I loved this camera. Unfortunately I couldn't afford another one at the time, but given the price and quality I couldn't have found a better one than this one.
