I have two so I can put one back on the bed right away while I wash the other - I have narcolepsy and can't predict when I'll need a nap. I sleep a lot and have dogs that join me - got my first blanket a few years ago and my second a few months ago and I can't tell which is which. I should be able to hold them amazingly well. They will get softer - don't be fooled by the feeling when you take them out of the packaging, they only make them hard because of the size, they wash out. They don't fade in the sun - mine gets bright morning sun every day, but the part that gets the light keeps the same color as the rest. The first was bluer than sea foam; the second was closer to the photo, but certainly not as bright. Not matte, but more pastel - a very beautiful, delicate color. It's not easy to mix and match the color when you're wearing it over a blanket, but there are enough other colors in the pattern - lime green, primrose yellow, dusty brown, and very soft gray - that it looks good on anything. . I had problems with pilling at first but I got a weird scraper from Revain that magically scooped up all the pills and they didn't come back - I don't think the pills were from the fabric itself, they were little balls of stuffing. who escaped through the seam. Once you remove them, they will disappear. I love these blankets.
