This kettle works surprisingly well. The ability to set the temperature and then hold it for up to 2 hours makes it easy to brew tea or coffee all morning. It heats up quickly and quietly and works as advertised. The only downside is that the top cap came loose and had to be reattached with superglue. There is a rubber grommet designed to separate, but the plastic and metal are separated in such a way that it's very difficult to open the top, especially when it's already heated. Nothing that could be fixed with some superglue, but a slight crack nonetheless. I can definitely recommend this kettle.
