Review on Pyle Home Marine Car Amplifier - Bridgeable 4-Channel by Jared Perry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mostly good, there are definitely some small issues.

Purchased on 05/15/21. I like it but there are issues as mentioned in the reviews but I had to try. Sometimes the top 2 channels stop working. Either 1 or both. You must power cycle the amp for it to work. You'll know the channels didn't work if you don't hear a beep from the left channel speakers when you turn it on. If you don't turn off the amplifier with the built-in switch, it will start in Bluetooth mode the next time you turn it on. It doesn't remember the last mode. Unknown source issue: sometimes skipping or muting on all channels. I'm not sure if it's the bluetooth or the amplifier channels or if my main unit is failing. Bluetooth reception at a distance of up to 8 feet. Intended for close-up photography only. I'm using my main BT head unit or an external 3.5mm to Bluetooth APTX adapter that can connect two devices at the same time. In these devices, Bluetooth is serious junk. The remote control is IR, not radio. The remote power button is the only feature that doesn't work in SD card or Bluetooth mode. Logically, analogue indicators (volume/treble/bass) cannot be overridden with a digital remote control.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Some small things
