I confess the main reason for this is that the girl somehow reminded me of Helen Bonham Carter. I don't actually use thumb pads. I find them a bit annoying and they're probably under my couch cushion somewhere, but other than that they're great. It's a rubber sleeve that you put on your controller and you're done! I have a small gap in the circled areas; They all evolved around the last month of the game. The lid doesn't wear there, it's just that it's not as tight in those places. If you were particularly intense, you could probably stick on some sort of spray adhesive or something. Another thing that most of the information about it doesn't mention is that this case is made of a different material than the standard PS4 controller. So if you *LIKE ME* suffer from anxiety and/or frustration related to Parkinson's disease and your hands are sweaty, THIS MATERIAL IS MATTE. I don't think other people will understand, but you can hold this if you can't hold the main controller's smooth plastic.
