I was looking for a trap for my BRZ/GT86 and didn't want to pay more than $100 for it just because of the name or the fancy mount. . Working in the automotive industry, I realized that making a bracket is no big deal. So I bought this trap and it is 100% identical to the large M brand trap. Pros - This trap has a nice bronze micron filter, internal baffle and o-rings on the fittings to help seal . Great value, less than 10% off the M brand version and other brand catches. Much better performance than any other trap in this price range. Cons - You'll need to find some sort of fastening solution, but zippered zip ties will work too. Got the trap pretty quick. Came assembled with a bronze filter and a reflector in the glass. There are O-rings on the fittings and there is Teflon tape on the drain plug at the bottom. There were scratches on the bottom of the trap. Send the seller some photos and they will ship a replacement floor box the next day. So excellent communication and after-sales service from their side. After all the reviews on other fishing pots on here I was wary of leaks. So I tested them under pressure in a water bath. Blocked the outlet and forced 5psi of air through the inlet. There were minimal leaks from the intake and exhaust pipes. Tightened them up and the problem was solved. Didn't tighten it all the way the first time. After that there were no more leaks. I poured some steel wool into the jar because I wanted there to be a lot more incomprehensible. To be honest, that's not necessary. Bracket manufactured, painted and assembled. In the car for several days and nothing is flowing. I have to open it to see if there is oil in it but I was too lazy to do it. We'll probably check it out next week. In any case, the trap works well. No leaks anywhere. Great price per catch, good filtration and filtration. Communication with the seller was quick and they even replaced the bottom can as the first part had scratches. So 5 stars to these guys.
