These cubes are a great tool for math lessons. Especially when you have a lot of young preschoolers like us and need to be aware of choking hazards, these bones are too big to fit in little mouths. We are homeschooled and it's amazing! For the little ones, they have fun and also learn to count "blocks" one by one. For older kids, I use them to demonstrate addition, subtraction, etc. We count the dice and add or subtract numbers. This gives us fewer small "manipulations" that can be dangerous for small children. I love them and the kids too!
