Review on 🌬️ White Demineralization Filter for Guardian Technologies FLTDC30 Humidifier by Larry Allen

We have hard water. When we first started using our ultrasonic humidifier, we had white dust all over the house (even though the humidifier was only in our kids' rooms). We couldn't understand why our whole house was almost covered in fog when we woke up in the morning. After our air conditioning repair technician came in and did a full check but found nothing, he asked about humidifiers. Of course, one night we didn't use the humidifier, and the next morning everything was fine in the house. We bought these filters thinking they might help. They've done very little to minimize white dust throughout the house. We ended up having to use distilled water, which isn't a bad thing but adds an extra cost. Unfortunately I'm not sure if we even need a filter. Despite what we've read about these filters, they certainly don't prevent white dust from ultrasonic humidifiers.
