It says 8+ and I think the age range is within the normal range. A very smart 7 year old can probably enjoy this too. You know your own children. My 8 year old son loves this. It's very fashionable to wear bracelets at school and all the kids wear them, so it must have something to do with the desirability of the item. He made a few for his sister, father and friends. The bands are strong. Only one strap broke while making the bracelet. And that was maybe the third time I put it on the loom. It comes with instructions. It teaches children patience and a growth mentality. Didn't it work? Let's see what not to do. Think the bracelet will be better next time. This item also gets kids working with their hands, a skill currently reserved for video game consoles. Your child will likely need help, but once they understand how to make bracelets, they can do it on their own. i need more groups The ones that come with the kit will last for the first few days, but you'll likely need a refill once the kids really invest in it. Overall very well done. I highly recommend.
