When the package arrived, all you had to do was put it on and that was all you had to do. I was a bit skeptical that this would still hold onto my car mount due to the material, but there was still a solid connection so it's great. It comes with two magnet rings as well as a cut out ruler so you can place the magnet right in the middle. I don't actually use the wireless charging feature, but I'm pretty sure it will work as well since the ring is wafer thin.
