I glued them to my sandals to "ride" and clean the floors (laughs). and they are strong enough to support my weight of 150lbs and fit my height of 10ft and STILL work. They have not scratched the ceramic tile floor in my old house nor the travertine floor in my new house. They are strong enough to clean the grout. They lose a few bristles so you have to vacuum them after use. I wouldn't use them on wood, they're too stiff. I'm actually surprised they didn't scratch the travertine, but they didn't, so I'll keep using them.
