These gloves are amazing. Feels a lot nicer than the typical plastic type I've used in the past for food processing and to cover broken skin on very sore hands. It's true that these biodegradable gloves won't make your hands sweat like the others! However, they still help protect against dryness and pain when I need them. I have a large composter, but I only put coffee grounds and filters in it. Bears and raccoons don't come in for coffee. But I will also add my used gloves when I start adding more produce to the compost.
