Be glad it wasn't a leaning tower

This was my very first 3D puzzle and while Ravensburger makes good puzzles I don't think I'll pick it up again. The pieces fit together well except when you get to the corner pieces where the tension of the mold makes it difficult to put them together. I'm in my 40's and with arthritis it was quite difficult to assemble the upper without the pressure required to keep one piece from falling apart when the other side was attached to it. As another reviewer said, it takes small hands and a lot of patience. I think it will be easier if you bend the corner pieces a full 90 degrees until they snap together before attempting to connect them to the other pieces. This can make it difficult to find the right pieces, but it's easier to put all the pages together in the long run. Maybe it would be better to use a plate system instead of flexible parts. Something that would be better for the person who wants more would be if they didn't cut all four sides the same so you don't end up with four sides with the same pieces. Also, in my opinion, a little more effort could have been put into making the connection of the platform parts more secure.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
