I bought this for a Chromebook Pro and it actually works as advertised, not just for the Plus as the name suggests. I bought a Chromebook Pro as a more powerful tablet replacement, so I mostly use my Chromebook Pro in tablet mode. I bought this hard case to give my Chromebook Pro extra protection and also because the site advertised the ability to use the bottom over the keys. The protection appears to be quite durable despite being a fairly flexible plastic. It should definitely protect against scratches and maybe minor drops and bumps. Unfortunately, Chromebooks cannot be switched to tablet mode when the top or bottom half of the case is "out" in laptop mode. This renders the top of the case useless to me. I would wear it over the screen when not in use, but the top half of the case is quite difficult to put on, and the bottom half (the bottom is much easier) so the top half of the case sits on a shelf and gathers dust in my Case. The reason I kept this case is the reason. You can slide the bottom half over the keys in tablet mode, giving the Chromebook a lot of "tablet" feel as your fingers don't bump into the exposed keys. I really like it and think it's worth it if you mainly use your Chromebook Pro or Plus in tablet mode. I will also use the underside of the bottom of the tablet when using it in laptop mode as I find this gives the device extra protection and keeps it clean especially if the surface I am using it on is a bit is dirty. Unfortunately, in such circumstances it is not worth putting on the upper half of the case as it is much more difficult to remove. Overall I think this is a good case that should give your Chromebook some extra protection. I'm deducting a star because the top half of the case was unusable for me. I'd appreciate it if they either redesigned the top half of the case and redesigned it so you can still fold your Chromebook into tablet mode when it's on and/or redesigned it to be easier to and can be undressed and used . to protect the screen when in tablet mode and not in use. Aside from redesigning the top half, I think it's a good idea to sell a cheaper kit that only includes the bottom half as I feel like I'm losing some of my money buying a product I'm from only use half. If you can afford a case totaling $20, I would recommend it, especially if you use it primarily in laptop mode and don't mind removing the top half if you plan to use it in tablet mode .
