The picture looked like a nutcracker I've had for over 50 years and recently lost. So I was excited to find another to crack pecans. However, when I held the new nutcracker in my hands, I noticed that it was smaller than the old one and very thin. The pecan was difficult to split because it wobbled when I tried to press both sides together and it looked like it was about to break. Because it was smaller than my old 1960's one, it was harder for my hands to hold it comfortably. I don't have very big hands.
