I've read some conflicting reviews about this laptop. My last few laptops were Acer so I really wanted a different Acer. This laptop had all the features I want and need for my work. The biggest issue I had was the heat coming from the laptop. Directly above the keyboard towards the screen, the heat was extreme. Another issue I had was plugging in my headphones and actually having to shake them to work. They work great on all my other devices. I had to return the laptop to get a refund. I was really worried it might burn my house down if left plugged in. I was also concerned that closing the lid after use would damage the screen. I called support and they told me that I can send the item to Texas for testing and they will try to fix the problem, but I will be without a laptop for more than 2 weeks. I need a laptop for work. I didn't even run any programs that would cause the laptop to heat up. I had a single tab browser open for my email. I had to go back and buy a different brand. Very disappointed.
