I like this short antenna for my 2018 Ford F150 XLT , because it is not short and not so big. I always go to the car wash and don't want to risk damaging the stock antenna with the moving cleaning parts of the car wash. I replaced the original antenna with this antenna and it fits perfectly. Easy to install but I don't think the signal is as good as the original because on the OEM part even if I'm 100 miles from town I can still get a clear local station signal and it goes away, when i am 125 miles away and completely lost signal from my 175 miles away city. But with this antenna I lose the clear signal at 100 miles and lose the local signal at 150 miles from my city completely. Hope this information helps.
