Tired of buying bottled water I decided to try the built in water dispenser filter in my fridge which I hadn't used before. Easy to install with a pair of flat wrenches left over from Ikea kits. All parts required for most installations are included along with Teflon tape for a secure connection. I followed the instructions on the filter and let the water run through it into the bucket for a few minutes before installing the final fixture on the fridge. Run about a gallon of water through the refrigerator's water dispenser before trying it. The filter uses activated carbon, which perfectly removes dirt and odors. I've tried pre-made products with store bought brands from Dasani and Pure Life from Nestle and couldn't tell any difference. Most commercially available bottled water is simply filtered water. All in all a great set for the price. By changing the filter from time to time, you still save a lot of money compared to buying water and do the environment a great service.
