Review on Adjustable Aluminum Woodworking Framing by MORINBO by Brandon Reid

Good for clamping when fastening, but not for gluing

Revane. Just compare the photos and choose the cheapest you can find as they are all the same. They even come in the same boxes. The clamps are well built and strong. The base is cast aluminum, so square. I needed something for gluing gussets, and this one-handle clip wouldn't work either. You can't tighten each part individually, so if you tighten one, the other may move. You'll need another clamp or two to tighten the connection. It just keeps the numbers square. The same can be done with the corner square. For more precise control, it is better to use a two-handled corner clamp, as you can position and tighten each piece independently. The Pittsburgh Double Handle Corner Clamp at Harbor Freight offers excellent value for money. Note that the one-grip corner clamp places the clamp on the inside of the corner, while the two-grip corner clamp places the clamp on the outside of the corner. This should be taken into account when connecting in a limited space. My only complaint about the build quality is that the jaw uses a non-structural piece of hollow plastic to keep it centered. This part only keeps the screw centered, but it's likely to fail first since it's very cheap plastic. For the same price, I personally prefer the version with two handles.

Pros
  • 🌟 Versatile - This woodworking vise is not only designed for wood, but for all hard materials such as metal/steel, glass, plastic. The wood clamp is ideal for welding, framing, drilling, dowelling, woodwork, carpentry, attaching furniture, drawers and picture frames etc.
Cons
  • So far so good
