Highly recommended for anyone who uses writing or drawing implements (including iPencil) frequently and for long periods of time. These grips have been a lifesaver for my fingertips and knuckles, and no, the paint doesn't rub off your fingers at all - they're not colored, they're cast in silicone. Having written and drawn extensively during my current downtime, prolonged use of regular pens and pencils has left me with knuckle pain and sore, calloused fingertips. These problems went away shortly after I started using them. They fit securely on my iPencil, drawing pencils and ballpoint pens. Some needed some hand soap and/or a little wiggling, but they wouldn't be of much use if they were loose enough to constantly slip over what I'm holding.
