These drive bays were used to fill the front of my old Antec 1200 case. They've been running on my server without a raid for a few months now and I haven't had any problems yet. I replaced the stock fans with some Noctua fans because I've read that the stock fans are noisy and don't allow for any speed adjustments other than a toggle switch on the back of the cage. In terms of features, I've connected drives to a couple of LSI cards with cables. Two LSI cards allow me to connect four fully populated hard drive bays. Transfer speeds are excellent and hard drives so far are in the mid 20's to mid 30's. Discs go in and out flawlessly. It would be nice if the power LEDs were a dull green instead of a piercing blue, but that's more of a personal preference. Otherwise I had no problems, could have been a bit cheaper.
