Advertised to work with S3. I wanted a charger that was easier to carry than the original. So I got these. it works "kinda". I couldn't charge it to 100%, but that doesn't mean it's useless. My watch tends to overheat and the watch will stop charging. So in a pinch, it extends battery life when you need it. Some reviews say it ruined their watch. I think caution is required. But I measured the current going into this thing when charging my old S3 and compared it to the current going into the original charger while charging my S3. WITH AN INPUT VOLTAGE OF APPROX. At 5V the current is slightly higher, but less than 50% higher, and in all cases I have measured well below the 1A limit stated on the charger. All chargers showed less than 0.35 amps, and the original - about 0.25 amps. There is some fluctuation, which I attribute to the watch's battery level changing while charging. I noticed a rise in temperature, but my watch protected itself and stopped charging. I wrote capital letters above because some USB adapters can output more than 5 volts, e.g. B. 9 volts. I would not use such USB voltage sources to power this device to charge my S3.
