UPDATE in a few weeks: Now only the first of the 3 lines is working, the other 2 just stopped working one day. I no longer see the light on the daisy chains - not dim, just nothing. The other strings still work - I ran a 100ft extension to my fence where the 1st and 2nd strings connect. When I connected the 2nd string directly to it, strings 2 and 3 lit up just fine. Given the amount of time and effort I expended to get it working and subsequent troubleshooting, combined with a very misleading claim about the save function, I'm going to smack it. Rating up to one star. I have three trees that I would like to light, but given the previous reliability and the memory feature that requires site management to manually reprogram them every night, I cannot buy them again. -------- ---PROS - A set of lights, both white and multi colored - Nice and bright - Looks great on my fence - Multiple loops through means if something breaks I don't have to redo it all Fence (as in the past) CONS - Requires line of sight and fairly close range for remote to work - Memory function forgets last setting when power is turned off. That last part is important - I connected all the various outdoor lights to a dusk/dawn sensor/timer adapter with an RD remote (no line of sight required). So if he turns off all my lights and later turns them back on, THOSE lights go back to level 1, which is basically a slow cycle through ALL the settings.
