I have several laptops so I found my needs are different for each one. I use this table for my largest laptop as there is no risk of it tipping over. The table top is large enough to hold an external drive, mouse, mouse pad and more. Although it's a bit bigger than I need for a sofa (perfect for a bed), I love the fact that it's so sturdy and easy to store. Of all my laptop stands, this one is the easiest to fold and store. (and provide and use). You simply fold both legs inwards and slide the table under the sofa. My small legged laptop stands have buttons to release each connection, so you have to fold each leg two or three times to lay flat to store them, and then reverse the process to use the stand again. It takes time to find the right angles. So I leave a small table in the closet. The 8AMTECH Desktop is bigger and heavier than I originally thought, but I'm very happy with it. I have never knocked over this table (unlike my smaller coasters). This is a good product that makes life easier. A++++
