Review on TireMinder Solar Powered Trailer TPMS by Covey Palmer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems to work as advertised

Installed on my 20ft enclosed trailer being towed by a large SUV. TireMinder Solar Powered Trailer TPMS, 4 sets of tires seems to work as advertised. I could see temperature and pressure changes on the display depending on whether the trailer was on the road or parked overnight. The displayed pressure on initial installation matched my tire pressure gauge. Installation was very easy. I connected the signal booster to the battery in the box at the nose of the trailer and attached the booster to the outside of the box with velcro. I didn't install the display, just left it on the center console for regular checks. The display shows it is fully charged after a 6 hour weekend ride (3 hours one way). I have recommended this device to my friends for their followers. I've had an explosion in a caravan before and hope to avoid that in the future. I gave it four stars because the display has to be viewed from a certain angle to see the information on the screen and the display doesn't rotate enough to be placed where I would prefer and because one the blocks on the track gave a "No Signal" warning towards the end of my trip, prompting me to get off the freeway to check and then it started working again. Let's hope it's just the unnamed batteries included in the kit. I choose this kit over the much cheaper no name brands because I expect it to be the best product that lasts longer and works better. The time will show. So far I am satisfied with the purchase and would buy again at any time.
