I bought this because I said a little bit that it would fit my wife's 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, which it doesn't. Installation was a nightmare. The speakers didn't fit in the front or back of the door cutout. The factory speakers have a plastic spacer that I reused and it still didn't fit. I had to use washers and whatever I could find to make enough room for me to tighten the screws without deforming the speaker. I didn't even install the rear speakers because of the size difference and couldn't just step back because I felt like the whole truck was being ripped apart and after thinking I screwed up enough with the front speakers to live with, I hear distortion on some songs due to the shape of the speakers being distorted from trying to tighten the screws enough so they don't rumble or loosen and I won't be disassembling the truck again to go back. Save time and money and get factory replacement parts as they will not fit the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab.
