Shock is not the same as shock!
These shock absorbers were installed on a 2011 Kia Soul with 101,000 km on the clock. When I took them out of the box they didn't open and pull like the shocks I had previously installed and I had to google for the shocks (because there were no instructions or info on the shocks in the boxes or on the boxes) . . The new dampers seem to work and respond "better" than the old dampers. I installed them and am really skeptical how they work. I'm awaiting new A-pillars and will then wait until spring to decide whether to keep them.
