It would appear that the headband is of a more traditional form and is of a larger size than the casing. With its positives being: Incredible sound quality for such a low price; not only are they not inferior to more costly examples, but in some ways they are even superior to them (I compare with "plugs" from JBL, Philips, Panasonic) These are some downsides: These headphones have a design that is clearly out of date from a stylistic standpoint.
