Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Blue Yeti Teal USB Microphone Bundle: Studio Headphones, Knox Pop Filter, and More! by Allen Hart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, good deal for the price.

Happy with the microphone. As a musician I know how much a good mic costs, I've had many sm 57's and 58's which cost me two hundred grand each in the 70's and 80's which gradually saved my "restaurant clerk" money to buy such things to buy . The Yeti package is worth it. Phones I don't use have been taken by others, but that's not why I made this purchase. I wanted a microphone for podcasts and a screen to go with it. I didn't want to waste time buying things individually. I read reviews that said the microphone was broken. I don't let it decide for me, you just return it if it doesn't work or works properly. Most retailers will happily give you a refund so you can get on with your business. Now I can do my podcasts without all those high-pitched whistles and pops that I used to make when speaking. I'd have to edit the audio with software and try to clean it up, I still do that now, but it will work much better that way. Big! Oh yes, the first start there are no problems. No hard drive to download, no website to go to and download, just plug in and win 7 added a sound device and then told me it was ready to go. Haven't tried it on my MAC yet, but I've used it on a Win 10 laptop and the same, got a message saying it's ready to use!

Pros
  • QUICK START RECORDING: Yeti was designed with an easy and simple workflow in mind. Set up in seconds with the included tabletop stand or connect directly to a mic stand. Adjust microphone gain, recording pattern, headphone volume, or mute/unmute with easy-to-reach controls. And record comfortably with Yeti's optional operating address
Cons
  • Short manual
