the headphones suck and the filter is pretty annoying

First off don't buy this kit if you're planning to buy a Yeti, the headphones suck and the filter is pretty annoying. You'd better get comfortable branded headphones (I don't have, took them off after 5 minutes) and a filter that doesn't plug in if you don't have room for it. Second, Yeti stopped working after 3 days. Tried everything possible (new drivers, different cables, different pc, reboot pc, new drivers, then reboot. Called support and they said it was broken. The only reason it doesn't

Pros
  • INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Yeti allows you to adjust and rotate the microphone in relation to the sound source, which optimizes the sound quality. Simply hand-tighten the mounting knobs to lock the microphone in place. The microphone can also be folded down or removed from the base for easy portability.
Cons
  • Only available in white

Broken Microphone Blue/Logitech Support stinks

Was a 2019 Christmas present for playing and making Youtube videos. I was surprised to see that a $100+ mic still uses a mini USB Type B cable. If you don't remember, remember the original Blackberry charger style USB cable. The mic sounds great and is very durable, except for the USB connector. For three months, simply touching the cable caused the headphones to pop. A few months later, a smack on the wire or the mic turned on and off. It was still on for six months, but the computer didn't…

Pros
  • FOUR SAMPLE MODES: Stereo mode is ideal for creating a realistic overall sound. cardioid mode. Good for podcasts, singing or game streaming. Cardioid mode picks up sound sources directly in front of the microphone. Omnidirectional mode picks up sound from all directions equally. This is best used at live events. Bidirectional mode records from both the front and back of the microphone. Great for tools or interviews
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good value for money, good deal for the price.

Happy with the microphone. As a musician I know how much a good mic costs, I've had many sm 57's and 58's which cost me two hundred grand each in the 70's and 80's which gradually saved my "restaurant clerk" money to buy such things to buy . The Yeti package is worth it. Phones I don't use have been taken by others, but that's not why I made this purchase. I wanted a microphone for podcasts and a screen to go with it. I didn't want to waste time buying things individually. I read reviews that…

Pros
  • QUICK START RECORDING: Yeti was designed with an easy and simple workflow in mind. Set up in seconds with the included tabletop stand or connect directly to a mic stand. Adjust microphone gain, recording pattern, headphone volume, or mute/unmute with easy-to-reach controls. And record comfortably with Yeti's optional operating address
Cons
  • Short manual
