Not the greatest but functional

I saw all the good reviews on this product and sold it. However, upon receipt, I think some of these reviews were not genuine. As long as the product is functional, it does not correspond to the manufacturer's information or the reviews. In addition, it is generally poorly executed, with many errors in the translation of instructions and lettering. Good: - It is very easy to hold. It's lightweight and durable. The addition of a glove is very handy (sorry for the pun), although I haven't used it yet. The slots are designed in such a way that it appears to be a very secure product. I don't see myself having an accident with him due to a product malfunction. Bad: - There are no instructions with the product. What is present is written at the bottom of the box and is poorly written. Obviously this is a translation. The slots are labeled one way, but the vague instructions list them the other way around (meaning a "fine" sharpener is actually a "coarse" sharpener). Sharpened "essence" as indicated on the product? How about step 1, step 2, step 3? Another poor translation/performance. The quality of the product is spotty which makes me wonder how long it will last. I used a scissor sharpener, the paint around this sharpener started peeling, and I'm not an aggressive sharpener. - The scissor sharpener just sucks. I've tried it on three different pairs of varying quality (ranging from cheap dollar trees to expensive Fiskars). and didn't see any improvement. I will most likely return it to Revain. I hate doing this because I've caused some wear and tear on the product trying to use it. However, it's just not worth the price.
