The design of the coat is really good but it is made in a factory in Vietnam without any quality control. I know this because the coat came to me with a Carhartt tag sewn directly onto the front of the coat, REVERSED. Not only was the person in charge completely unfamiliar with the English language and the Latin alphabet, he didn't even know his company logo! And just like that, he walked out the door. The look inside the coat wasn't much better, all the seams were torn, the seams weren't on the edges, bad overall. These things are made in a sweatshop and it's a shame because you can tell it would be a very nice coat if done right. It looked wrong. Bottom line: If it was a $25 coat from Walmart that your baby wore for 3 months and outgrew it, none of these things would be a big deal, but Carhartt wasn't expecting that.
