It gets dirty and wears out pretty quickly even though my dog is indoors 98% of the day and doesn't climb on anything. Washing causes pilling. At least it wasn't expensive. Update: don't buy. I have no idea how but it ended up strangling my dog and I had to cut him off. Eventually the metal clasp broke. The last time I put the collar on it didn't click properly and the collar was too tight. This should not be possible or possible with most collars. The metal clasp must be bent or something. It was too tight on my dog's neck and I had to use scissors to rescue him. Terrible experience and really scared me. A cheap collar from Walmart is better than this junk.
