Review on πŸ“š Augmented Reality Education with MERGE Cube by John Langdon

This is frustrating

I have a friend who invited me to show me his new Merge Cube. I ordered the next day. When I received the Merge Cube, I saw a get start mergecube.com/start message with an activation code. I go to the page where I can't enter the activation code anywhere. There are no instructions on what apps need to be downloaded to make this thing work. After playing around on the Cube Fusion website, I found several apps to download. The first app is File Explorer, but when I downloaded it it had a getting started video that killed the app every time I tried to play it. I then downloaded another merge app but couldn't get it to work. This second app was used to upload your own content. I gave up and wrote a review for this product but I used profanity and Amazon didn't allow me to write a review. The next day I took some time to play with the dice. I found another file explorer app that I downloaded and this app allowed me to use my iPhone to view content. I do not recommend this product. The instructions are inaccurate and disappointing. All you have to do is buy a cube, throw away the activation code and instructions. Download some merge apps and try now to see if any of them work. It's cool when it works, but it's not worth the disappointment.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
