This is a great way to make coffee at home. If you've only ever made filter coffee with a coffee maker before, or have K-cups or pods, this is a step up. It's a lot cheaper than buying a Technivorm coffee maker, but does require some research. I recommend watching James Hoffman's video on how to use it and then watching other videos. First, there are about 30-60 filters in the kit, I didn't count, but you don't need to buy any filters. You have to grind finer than a standard drip machine, but it does the job really well. There isn't much aftertaste and if you do it right and use good coffee, you'll end up with the best coffee you've ever tasted. No need to go to a coffee shop and the price of this item is great. You can just have it done in his cup, but it works well if you're not just making it for yourself.
